The Foxseal Vented chest seal is the newest addition to Celox Medical’s range of UK and EU approved products. The Foxseal Vented chest seal is an extremely effective vented chest seal both from a clinical and cost perspective.

BENEFITS OF THE FOXSEAL VENTED CHEST SEAL:

• Fast application in any orientation.
• 512 vents to release air and prevent the development of tension pneumothorax.
• Works if creased!
• Mitigates the risk of re-entry of air.
• Works even if the central valve is partially occluded or not centrally over the wound (maximum 50% occlusion).
• Still effective under protective clothing such as body armour.
• Conforms with flat, uneven or contoured surfaces.
• Proven in extreme conditions – can be stored between -24 and 55 degrees centigrade. Can be applied between -5 and 40 degrees centigrade.
• Minimises risk of channelling.
• The re-seal tab allows lifesaving rapid decompression for clinicians without the need for a new chest seal as with other products.
• Fits inside a pocket/small IFAK without loss of performance – a common concern with other brands. It can be rolled and folded.
