BritePro Omni is an All-in-One, Sterile, Single Use Laryngoscope for instant use straight from the pack, simply open, use and dispose. It is manufactured by Flexicare.

Available in all common Macintosh and Miller blade sizes, the BritePro Omni is popular with pre-hospital clinicians for its simplicity and ease of use when intubating at the roadside.

WHY SINGLE USE?

Numerous studies show that current reprocessing practices are ineffective, with 75% – 86% of “patient ready” handles wiped with a germicidal wipe remaining positive for bacterial contamination and 82% of cleaned blades testing positive for protein deposits. Laryngoscopes are difficult to clean and decontaminate appropriately, with a reported 20% of washed and sterilised blades testing positive for occult blood, creating a risk of patient to patient cross-contamination. (Sources available on request).
