The Water-Jel First Responder burn dressing for hands is a unique product, designed to treat burns where running water may not be immediately available or during transfer.
The Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care now recommend the use of hydrogel burns dressings where running water may not be immediately available.
Water-Jel burns dressing are unique and contain hyaluronic acid (HA) which modulates the inflammatory response and facilitates wound closure. It provides very effective hydration of the skin, assists in restoring skin elasticity and speeds up wound closure.
As a company, Water-Jel invest heavily in research. The latest HA formulation is the result of three years of trials and tests with a focus on onward care for burns patients. The formulation means the substance left on the burn is completely clear allowing for full evaluation of the burn.
